Aike Krips is a lawyer registered in the Netherlands.
Aike has been working as a lawyer since 2001, with a six-year break as general counsel at an international commercial bank based in the Netherlands. He has also worked as a lawyer in Curaçao for a number of years in the past.
Aike’s practice is a combination of international contract law, financing & securities and port & trade, in particular shipbuilding and ship repairs. Aike is highly experienced in the field of trade financing and restructuring of loans and associated securities.
Aike is registered in the register of legal areas of the Dutch Bar Association as a specialist in the areas of Financial Law and Transport and Trade Law. Based on this expertise, he enthusiastically supports the Banking & Finance practice group and plays an important role in the further expansion of the Transport & Trade practice group of Spigt Dutch Caribbean.
